The WBHS Band has multiple fundraisers throughout the year.
- Shopping Mall – The online shopping mall earns cash back rewards for yourself and for the band.
- Car Wash – The annual “free” car wash is one of the best money-makers for the band.
- Discount Cards – The Discount Cards are $10.00 each and have a great selection of restaurants and businesses that offer discounted pricing for a full year when you show the card.
- Ink Cartridges – Students can bring in old ink cartridges for recycling and earn money.
- Newspapers, Office Papers and Phone Book Recycling – The recycling bins at the old Pride of the Southland Market (it’s closed) next to Fairview United Methodist Church on Old Niles Ferry Road benefit the band. Please make sure the lids are closed on the bins when you drop off.
- Butter Braids – This year’s kickoff for Butter Braids is Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011. The seven flavors offered this year are Apple, Bavarian Crème, Blueberry and Cream Cheese, Cinnamon, Cream Cheese, Raspberry and Strawberry & Crème Cheese.
