Our fundraiser with Uno’s Chicago Grill is set. Here’s how it works. Get your tickets from the band. Eat at Uno’s on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Present your ticket to your server prior to check-out. Uno’s will donate a percentage of your bill to the WBHS band.
On Saturday, October 27, the band will be participating in a competition at Alcoa High School. The students need to be at the school no later than 1:30 noon. The schedule is as follows:
Please remember that tomorrow night (Friday, October 26) is the last home game of the regular season. We need extra people to work because several of us have seniors and will be with them. We have very few people signed up at this time. Don’t be the reason that we have to close one of the concession stands. It makes the lines so much longer when we do and that means that some people won’t want to wait.
Channel 10 has asked the band to play live on the air on Friday, November 2, after the game at Heritage. We will be loading up shortly after the half-time performance and heading to Knoxville.
On Saturday, October 20, we the band will be participating in a competition at South-Doyle High School. The students need to be at the school no later than 12:00 noon. The schedule is as follows:
On Friday, October 19, is our game at McMinn County. Because of the long drive, Subs and Such will be delivering dinner at the school for the students. The orders and money should have been turned in by Thursday.
Just a reminder that the deposit for the Spring Florida trip is due this week. Be sure to make the payment by Friday, October 19, 2007.
