WBHS Band Announcements

Hey all! This is Chris with a quick message about Brass Quintet and
Woodwind Quintet Tryouts:

The tryouts will consist of the following:
-All 12 scales, minimum 1 octave
-Chromatic, minimum 2 octaves
-1 prepared piece (Solo, Show music, Sr Clinic piece, etc.) of your choice
-1-2 sight-reading pieces (Selected by me)

The tryouts will be after school, around January 7-18.
I will be a judge, probably for trumpets. I also will be trying out
for the tuba spot.

The ensembles will consist of the following instrumentation:
Brass Quintet:
-2 Bb Trumpets
-1 F Horn
-1 Trombone
-1 Tuba

Woodwind Quintet
-1 Flute
-1 Bb Clarinet
-1 Eb Alto Clarinet
-1 Oboe
-1 Bb Bass Clarinet
